RCKP had initiated a Project in partnership with a Company Lean Crop Technology Solutions in Village Andagaon , Taluka Mulshi Pune. The main aim of this Project is to increase farm incomes of the farmers by providing technical assistance in farming like soil condition, water quality, alternate crop etc . Create awareness, provide knowledge about scientific farming techniques etc. The Project started with 25 farmers joining in the month of Jan 2019. Lean Agri since then has started working in providing assistance to the farmers by Data Collection, Geo Tagging, Soiland water testing, Season long schedule and support. Lean Agri optimised and personalised calendar have helped farmers with scientific techniques on farming. This has helped farmers in reduce the cost of production , increased farm yield , reduce crop losses due to pests and diseases. So far 50 farmers have joined and enjoying the fruits of benefits. On 5th October , 2019 , our club helped famers to form the RCC Andgaon sponsored by Rotary Club of Koregaon Park. In all ten members were nominated in the committee. Office bearers are Mr. Narayan Marne as President, Mr. Maloji Marne as Secretaryand Nagesh Marne as the treasurer. Subsequently RCC Andgaon has been approved by Rotary International.
