October 24 World Polio Day Rotary is resolved to rid the world of polio forever by educating communities and expand access to health care. To this day, 2.5 Billion children across globe have been immunised against Polio. Rotary members have hundreds of health projects underway around the world at any given time. As the disease retreats from the global stage, Rotary and its partners in the Global Polio Eradication Initiative are strengthening the lines of communication by giving cellphones to health workers and to maintain Polio Immunisation Data. The result is a collection of real-time information that officials can easily monitor and assess. Cellphone technology signals tremendous progress in the polio eradication program. RC Koregaon Park in its endevour to End Polio has donated Rs 31000/- towards the Polio Fund .
